Battery Ventures Plans to Raise $750 Million for New Fund

Mass. - Venture capital firm Battery
Ventures plans to raise $750 million for its newest investment fund, the firm's
ninth, according to a report by PEHub.com.
Founded in 1983, Battery
focuses on a range of sectors, including Internet and digital media, financial
services, clean tech and advanced materials, and software, among others.
The
firm invests as little as a few hundred thousand dollars in seed money and up
to $100 million at the upper end of its range.
