Toronto - Research in Motion (NASD: RIMM) plans to release an updated version of its touch-screen Storm smartphone, Reuters reports. The Storm2 will continue to sport a "clickable" touch-screen, but add faster typing and "multitouch" functionality, RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie told Reuters. Vodafone plans to begin selling the device in the fall in parts of Europe and South Africa, while Verizon is also expected to offer the device this year.
