San Francisco
- Digg, the user-generated Web content ranking service, has acquired WeFollow,
a Twitter directory service launched by Digg founder Kevin Rose earlier this
year, TechCrunch reports.
No money changed hands during the deal, according to TechCrunch's source, who said that WeFollow's data "became very useful for Digg." WeFollow is a service that organizes Twitter users according to the topics they cover, and then ranks them by number of followers.
