- DailyBooth, a photo-based blogging service with similar features to Twitter,
has raised $1 million in venture capital financing, The Wall Street Journal
Online reported.
Investors included Sequoia Capital, SV Angel, Betaworks, and individuals such as Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake and Digg co-founder Kevin Rose. DailyBooth, which says it counts 6 million unique monthly visitors, lets users upload pictures of themselves or other subjects, and receive text or pictorial responses in real-time. The company previously received $15,000 in seed funding from Y Combinator.
