Web TV Industry News Site Tubefilter Acquires Tilzy.TV

Los Angeles - Tubefilter, a news and information site covering the Web TV industry, announced on Monday that it will acquire Tilzy.TV, a Web TV entertainment reviews, news and events business website.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Los Angeles-based Tubefilter said that Tilzy.TV will remain based in New York, while the company's co-founders will join the Tubefilter executive team.

"The Tilzy.TV team has built a very successful online entertainment news and events business, which complements Tubefilter's long-term mission and growth strategy," said Tubefilter co-founder and CEO Brady Brim-DeForest.

"Their digital entertainment upfronts this past Spring (www.onfronts.com) rallied independent and global online entertainment production companies, brands and ad agencies -- signaling that online entertainment's future is bright."
