San Mateo,
Calif. - Jelli, the developer of
a service that lets Web users control songs played on terrestrial radio
stations, announced on Tuesday that it has signed a syndication deal with
Triton, as well as a distribution deal with Australian broadcaster Austereo. San Mateo, Calif.-based Jelli recently began a trial of
its service with CBS Bay Area radio station KITS LIVE 105. Jelli will now also
be available to Triton's more than 4,500 U.S.
radio affiliations -- both terrestrially and online -- and in Australia on Austereo stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. The company added
that it plans to release an iPhone application in early 2010.
