1Cast Debuts Video News Clip Service; Integrates with Boxee

Kirkland, Wash. - Personalized video service 1Cast on Wednesday commercially launched its platform, which pushes customized video news clips to users based on their interests. The company said that it pushed more than 3.2 million video clips monthly to its beta users, from partners including the BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox, Reuters and Dow Jones. 1Cast also announced a deal with Boxee, to extend its service to the TV media center platform.
