Live U2 Concert on YouTube Serves 10 Million Streams

San Bruno, Calif. - The live video webcast of U2's concert at the Rose Bowl on Sunday via Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube served up nearly 10 million streams, a company spokesperson told NewTeeVee.

Available to viewers in 16 countries, the event figures as the largest-ever live stream for YouTube.

The on-demand replay of the full concert has also drawn about 1.2 million viewers.

This is really cool news, I hadn't heard of live streaming youtube before but this is really helpful for fans who couldn't afford to go or couldn't make it etc. so they can still join in on the experience!
