Mobile Ringtones Firm LiveWire Cutting 20 Jobs

Littleton, Mass. - LiveWire Mobile (NASD: LVWR), a provider of ringtones, full track downloads and other mobile applications, announced that it is eliminating about 20 jobs as part of a plan to reduce expenses.

The company also announced that it has reduced its office space lease obligations.

"These transactions, together with our cost reduction plan just announced, represent a focus on the continued simplification of our overall business and our continued commitment to achieving adjusted EBITDA profitability," said Joel Hughes, CEO of LiveWire.

The publicly traded company was founded in 1983.
