- Scoopler, the developer of a real-time search engine, has landed seed funding
from investors Ron Conway, Michael Birch, Avalon Ventures and XG-Ventures,
PEHub.com reported.
Financial details of the investment round were not disclosed. Founded in May 2009, San Francisco-based Scoopler indexes live updates from services including Twitter, Flickr, Digg and Delicious, and includes this data in its search results. The company, which previously received backing from Y Combinator, plans to use the new funds for further product development, and to distribute its service.
