San Francisco - Scoopler, the developer of a real-time search engine, has landed seed funding from investors Ron Conway, Michael Birch, Avalon Ventures and XG-Ventures, PEHub.com reported.

Financial details of the investment round were not disclosed.

Founded in May 2009, San Francisco-based Scoopler indexes live updates from services including Twitter, Flickr, Digg and Delicious, and includes this data in its search results.

The company, which previously received backing from Y Combinator, plans to use the new funds for further product development, and to distribute its service.
