- Zoom Media, the U.K.-based provider of a digital out-of-home programming and
advertising network in health and fitness venues, announced on Tuesday that it
has acquired rival Gym Screen Media.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition -- Zoom's fourth in the past year -- expands its network to over 650 fitness venues in the U.K. and over 2,200 worldwide; in all, Zoom's network includes over 25,000 digital screens in 10,000 venues. The company raised $30 million in funding in March, in a round led by ABS Capital Partners.
