Calif. - CubeTree, a developer of
Web-based collaboration software built on a social networking platform, said on
Wednesday that it has raised $8 million in its second round of funding, led by
InterWest Partners.
Previous investor Trinity Ventures also participated in the round, which increased the company's total backing to $12 million. Launched in May, Redwood City, Calif.-based CubeTree delivers a hosted social networking platform that features enterprise collaboration tools like wikis, blogs and file sharing.
