AppNexus Raises $5 Million for Online Ad Platform

New York - AppNexus, the developer of a cloud-based online advertising platform, announced on Tuesday that it has raised a $5 million third round of funding, led by Kodiak Venture Partners.

Previous investors Venrock and First Round Capital also participated in the round, proceeds from which will be used to expand the company's real-time advertising and cloud hosting platform.

New York-based AppNexus provides its real-time online ad buying platform to large ad networks and online advertisers.
