London - Microsoft's (NASD: MSFT) forthcoming gesture-based gaming system, codenamed Project Natal, could launch in November 2010 with a price tag of just $50, Britain's MCV reported, citing demonstrations of the technology Microsoft is providing U.K. studios in a bid to encourage developer support.

Publisher sources told MCV that Microsoft will launch Natal with 5 million units, and that the company is "trying to get as close as possible to 'impulse buy'" with its price point.

Microsoft introduced Project Natal at the E3 game convention in Los Angeles earlier this year, and may provide additional details at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
