Cupertino,
Calif. - Apple (NASD: AAPL) has booted a
China-based iPhone application developer and 1,000 of its applications from its
iTunes App Store, reportedly for gaming the service's user reviews feature,
Wired.com reports. The blog iPhoneography investigated Molinker's reviews and
found that a few users, who reviewed mainly Molinker's applications, were
giving them five-star reviews and propelling the applications higher among all
applications' ratings.
