Los Angeles – The Los Angeles
Times Media Group said on Wednesday that it has formed a joint venture with
U.S. Local News Network (USLNN), to create two local news sites aimed at
readers in Orange
County. The venture will
see the companies share content and advertising across the two sites,
TheOCNow.com and OCLNN.com, and Times-owned newspapers the Coastline Pilot,
Daily Pilot and the Huntington Beach Independent. The companies have invested
about $1 million in the venture, USLNN CEO Neil Senturia told the Times.
