Mobile Gaming Network PapayaMobile Lands $4 Million

Beijing - PapayaMobile, a mobile social networking and gaming platform that counts 3.5 million users, has raised $4 million in venture capital funding from DCM.

Founded in 2008, PapayaMobile has offices in Beijing and Menlo Park, Calif.

The company offers a mobile social network, and a rostser of 12 social games.

PapayaMobile on Wednesday also released a software development kit so developers can promote their own applications on the platform.
