New York – Sociocast, a provider of real-time audience data
for online publishers, announced on Monday that it raised $1.65 million in
first round financing earlier this year, and launched its platform in private
beta.

The funding came from Quicken Loans founder and Cleveland Cavaliers owner
Dan Gilbert.

New York-based Sociocast said it has partnered with marketing firm
BackType, natual language tech firm OpenAmplify, and online ad firm RapLeaf to
integrate their offerings.
