New York – FanBridge, a provider of digital marketing
services for artists and bands, announced that it has officially closed its $2
million, first round of financing, and acquired Damntheradio, a service that helps
artists build Facebook fan pages.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not
disclosed.

Investors in New York-based FanBridge’s financing round included Alex
Zubillaga, Chris Fralic, Founder Collective, 500 Startups, Maurice Werdegar,
Matt Keiser and existing seed investors Jeff Clavier, Chris Sacca, Founders
Fund and Dave McClure.

FanBridge said Damntheradio will form the foundation of
a new San Francisco office.

The company has created Facebook pages for
customers including Warner Music Group, Sony Music, EMI and "American
Idol."
