Bruce Springsteen fans have embarked on a music site tour in order to hear Wrecking Ball, the album being released March 6.

Each day a new track is made available for streaming over the 24 hour period, and each of the 11 songs is hosted on one of ten websites. This adds a touch of gamification to the viral aspect of the roll-out, as fans race to be the first to tell friends where the day’s song is.

The songs are being uncorked in the same order they appear on Wrecking Ball, Springsteen’s 17th studio recording. It started with “Easy Money” on the long-running Springsteen fan site Backstreets.com, followed by “Shackled and Drawn” at RollingStone.com. Today, Spin.com hosts “Jack of All Trades,” and so on until “We Are Alive” appears somewhere on March 2.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscribers can also hear these songs on E Street Radio, where Dave Marsh is playing each day’s track from 10 to 11 a.m. Eastern.

Backstreets.com is collecting links to each of the tracks, as well as information regarding where the songs can be heard outside of the U.S.
