The Baltimore Ravens will edge the San Francisco 49ers, 27-24, with safety Ed Reed intercepting a pass from quarterback Colin Kaepernick with 10 seconds left to seal the victory, according to the results of a Super Bowl XLVII simulation by Electronic Arts (EA) using its Madden NFL 13 game on the Xbox 360. The annual simulation has accurately predicted seven of the past nine Super Bowls, and was two points away from predicting the exact final score of the 2009 matchup between the Steelers and Cardinals. EA said that Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco took home MVP honors by completing 19 of 27 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns. The full prediction video is available at the bottom link below.
