TechCrunch reports that Persado, an ad-tech spinoff of digital marketing company Upstream has announced it raised a funding round of $15 million, led by Bain Capital Ventures. It will use the funds to set up a new headquarters in New York, add to its London office, put money into Research & Development, and focus on agencies and brands to make use of its technology. Approximately $34 million has been invested in Persado to date. Its current customers include Skype, Badoo, the mobile carrier TIM. Read more
