Apple Launches Attribution Features for its New Version of iTunes Connect

appleVentureBeat reports that Apple, according to Applift, has made it likely for developers to access what they called “the conversion funnel” inside the iTunes Connect user lifecycle. This means that web developers can now track, as Applift said, all pertinent metrics for acquisition, engagement, and retention. Applift stated company engineers exposed the ascription works after WWDC 14 had ended.  Attribution for iTunes Connect allows developers to track and feature app store views, application units, sessions, installs, and sales data, among other data points. Developers now have a more complete view of who is buying and clicking. The attribution services can be retrieved without supplementary software development kits (SDKs), additional code, or updates.
