eBay Settles Proxy Fight with Investor Carl Icahn

eBay said it has reached a deal with activist investor Carl Icahn, ending a proxy fight before next month's annual stockholder meeting. Under the agreement, Icahn has withdrawn his proposal to separate the company's PayPal business, as well as his two nominees to the board of directors. In exchange, eBay has agreed with Icahn's suggestion to appoint David Dorman, a founding partner of Centerview Capital Technology and chairman of CVS Caremark, as an independent director. Read More

WeatherBug, the Germantown-based provider of neighborhood-level weather information over the web, said on Monday it has partnered with Little League Baseball and Softball to launch a new mobile weather app specifically designed for players, coaches and their families.
