Bloomberg reports that Sony Corporation is looking to sell its audio-recognition software business, Gracenote, which has annual revenue in the $100 million to $200 million range. Sony acquired Gracenote in 2008 for $260 million. The company provides software that allows Apple iTunes and other digital retailers to recognize songs using metadata.
