CrowdSource, an Illinois-based provider of managed crowdsourcing technology, said on Thursday it will acquire San Francisco-based counterpart Servio. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Twitter Signs BBC Global News for its TV Ad-program Amplify

TechCrunch reports that Twitter has now signed with BBC Global News for its in-stream video TV and Ad-targeting program, Amplify. This is its first partnership with the Global News organization. In the last month, the company had reported to add CBS to the Amplify roster. Amplify was originally partnered by BBC America, FOX, Fuse and The Weather Channel.
