Marathon Patent Group Sues Five Tech Giants

Marathon Patent Group, an Alexandria-based patent licensing firm, said its subsidiary, Sampo IP, has filed patent infringement lawsuits against Facebook, Intuit, Amazon, LinkedIn and eBay. The suits, all filed in the U.S. District Court of Delaware, allege that the tech giants are infringing on patents related to communications systems and methods.
