LinkedIn to Pay $6 Million in Unpaid Overtime Wages and Damages

LinkedIn, the operator of an online professional network, said it will pay nearly $6 million to 359 current and former employees following an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor. The agency found that LinkedIn was in violation of the overtime and record-keeping provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to record, account and pay for all hours worked in a workweek.
