Reuters reports that Apple Inc. is thinking of launching iPhones with bigger screens as well as cheaper models in a variety of colors, over the next year, said four people having knowledge of the matter. Apple is considering introducing a minimum of two bigger iPhones next year, one having a 4.7-inch screen and another with a 5.7-inch screen, said the sources. They said suppliers have been contacted with plans for the bigger screens, but it's still uncertain if Apple will in fact launch its flagship product in the larger sizes. Read More

Reuters: DirecTV and Two Other Bidders Offer More Than $1 Billion Each for Hulu

Reuters reports that satellite operator DirecTV and two other bidders have presented bids of more than $1 billion each to purchase Hulu, a source having knowledge of the bidding process said on Friday, improving the odds that owners News Corp. and Walt Disney Co. may sell the video streaming service that they tried but were unable to sell in 2011. Reuters reports that Amazon.com's main UK unit has paid $3.7 million in taxes on its 2012 income, based UK sales of $6.5 billion. During the year, the company obtained 2.5 million pounds in government grants. All sales to British users are directed through a Luxembourg affiliate, which pays the UK unit fees to cover its costs.
