WSJ: Yahoo to Make Push Into Original Programming

Following the lead of companies like Netflix and Amazon, Yahoo plans to begin producing original programming, and already is in talks to potentially order four web series, The Wall Street Journal reported. The publications, citing people familiar with the matter, said the company is most interested in 10-episode, half-hour comedies with budgets up to several million dollars per episode.
