The researcher worries that these services are dangerously reducing our attention span by flooding us with information...and also dangerously removing the need to think on your feet in social interactions, rather than taking your time to cook up something witty to say. So let's see if I have this straight: it seems we're at peril of learning to process diverse sources of information more quickly, while facing increased pressure to be more thoughtful about what we say.
