Yahoo, WPP Sign Multi-Year Digital Advertising Partnership

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) on Friday announced a multi-year strategic partnership with several units of advertising giant WPP (NASD: WPPGY), which the company said will allow the companies to buy digital display advertising across the Internet more efficiently.

New York - Digital marketing firm 24/7 Real Media, a unit of WPP, announced on Monday that it has partnered with four major publishers to launch an online B2B advertising network. The BBN network will reach nearly 10 million monthly unique users, consisting of readers at over 200 Web properties from Cygnus Business Media, Nielsen Business Media, Reed Business Information and The McGraw-Hill Companies.

24/7 Real Media Acquisition by WPP Group Gets Antitrust Nod

New York - 24/7 Real Media, a New York-based digital marketing company, on Friday announced that the antitrust regulatory waiting period for its proposed acquisition by WPP Group has expired. The pending tender offer is conditioned upon at least a majority of the outstanding 24/7 Real Media shares.

London - Global advertising firm WPP announced on Thursday that it will acquire search engine marketing provider 24/7 Real Media for $649 million.

Ad Serving Firm 24/7 Real Media Acquires Analytics Firm Insight First

New York -- 24/7 Real Media, a provider of ad serving technology, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Insight First, a provider of Web analytics services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. New York-based Insight's marketing and sales analytics have been used by clients including MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1 and UAL Loyalty Services. 24/7 Real Media CEO David J. Moore said that the addition of Insight will help its advertiser customers "better understand and more effectively target their best Web customers." Insight founder and CEO Tony Schmitz will join 24/7 Real Media as chief technology officer.
