VOD Service Jaman.com Adds 60Frames Content

San Mateo, Calif. - Online movie and video service Jaman.com on Monday added content from digital studio 60Frames to its ad-supported streaming offering. "In addition to growing our selection of feature films, one of Jaman's goals is to increase our library of short-form entertainment," said Gaurav Dhillon, founder and CEO of Jaman.

60Frames, Oni Press to Develop Comics Into Web Series

Los Angeles - Web video content producer and syndicator 60Frames Entertainment said this week that it has signed a deal with comic publisher Oni Press, to produce a Web series based on current and forthcoming titles. The first Oni titles that will become Web series will be "Ark" and "Men With Guns: Assassin," scheduled to debut in 2009.

60Frames Premieres New "Kids in the Hall" Sketch

Los Angeles - Digital media financing and syndication company 60Frames Entertainment announced on Wednesday the premiere of "Carbangers," a new original video sketch from comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall. The release, which features the group's entire original five-member cast, is the first since the Kids' 2002 "Tour of Duty" DVD, and coincides with their current North American tour.

Los Angeles - 60Frames Entertainment, a company that will provide financing, ad sales and syndication of professionally-produced online content, on Wednesday announced its official launch and a first round of $3.5 million in financing.
