AOL to Discontinue AOL Pictures, BlueString and Xdrive

Dulles, Va. - Needing to tighten its belt, AOL plans to discontinue its AOL Pictures photo service, its BlueString multimedia composition tool and the Xdrive file storage and backup service in December, Ars Technica reported.

AOL Partners with Walgreens on Photo Printing Service

Dulles, Va. - AOL on Wednesday unveiled a new partnership with drugstore chain Walgreens that will allow users of its free online photo service to order prints online, then pick them up at any or more than 5,000 Walgreens locations in the U.S.
