One Llama Media to Power Advanced Music Search for APM Music

Champaign, Ill. - One Llama Media, a developer of advanced music search technology, said on Wednesday that it has partnered with APM Music -- a production music library joint venture between EMI Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing -- to develop software that will improve advanced music searches and automated music classifications. The software utilizes One Llama's proprietary acoustic analysis, cultural analysis and trainable machine learning algorithms, and will be offered to users of APM's library of over 250,000 recordings.

Indie911 Artists Gain Licensing Opportunities Through APM Music

Los Angeles - Indie911, a service that lets independent artists distribute music and connect with fans, announced that it has partnered with APM Music, a joint venture of EMI Music Publishing and BMG Music Publishing. The agreement will allow Indie911 artists to submit music to APM for consideration for use in commercial TV shows, films, commercials and online media.

Electronic Arts to Offer Game Scores for Commercial Productions

Las Vegas - Video game publisher Electronic Arts announced on Tuesday that it is making the musical scores from titles including "The Sims" and "Medal of Honor" available for use in TV, film and other media productions through an agreement with APM Music.
