Buzz Watch: New iPods Expected To Be Revealed on September 5th

It is confirmed - Apple is hosting a special media event on September 5th in San Francisco. As usual, what will happen at this event is a mystery, but the invitation features a silhouetted man with an iPod in iTunes CoverFlow interface. The caption reads “The Beat Goes On”, a reference to The Beatles' final press release, which was issued by Apple Records on April 10, 1970, following the band's split.
