Applian Changes Name, Adds Features to Slingbox-Recording Application

San Anselmo, Calif. - Applian Technologies said on Tuesday that it has changed the name of its PC software that can capture TV programs viewed away from the home through Sling Media's Slingbox device, in order to avoid trademark confusion in the marketplace.

Applian Technologies Introduces Slingbox Recording Software

San Anselmo, Calif. - Applian Technologies on Tuesday introduced its PC software application that captures TV broadcasts made from Sling Media's Slingbox recorder, so that Slingbox users may watch them even without an Internet connection.
