Palm Signs Pre Deals With O2, Movistar, Bell Mobility

London - Palm (NASD: PALM) has signed deals with European mobile operator Telefonica's O2 and Movistar to offer its Pre smartphone, Reuters reported. Beginning in the fall, O2 will sell the Pre in the U.K., Ireland and Germany, while Movistar will get exclusive distribution in Spain. Palm also partnered with Bell Mobility to sell the Pre in Canada in the second half of 2009.

Groove Mobile Launches Music Subscription Service for Bell Mobility

Bedford, Mass. - Groove Mobile, a provider of mobile music services, on Tuesday announced that Canadian wireless operator Bell Mobility has launched a subscription service offering unlimited access to its catalog of over one million tracks for $15 CDN per month. The subscription service will be offered alongside Bell Mobility's existing a la carte mobile song download service, and allow users to purchase tracks from that service as well.
