SellaBand Partners With Chuck D for U.S. Launch

New York - SellaBand, a Netherlands-based, fan-financed recordings site, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with hip-hop artist Chuck D's BTN Eastlink media company to launch North American operations, to be based in New York City. "SellaBand's business model takes music to a whole new level by linking fans directly to musicians and leveraging those relationships for the creation of new music," said Chuck D, frontman of legendary rap group Public Enemy. "It's an 'everyone wins' solution and is the new, new frontier and will completely redefine the way the music business operates."
