Washington - REVShare, a provider of cost-per-action TV advertising services, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $20 million in new funding from The Carlyle Group and H.I.G. Ventures.

London - Richard Branson's Virgin Media, which provides bundled cable TV, landline, mobile and broadband services in the U.K., announced on Monday that it has received a bid to acquire the company from an unnamed group.

Washington - The Carlyle Group, the large DC-based private equity firm, may be preparing to sell New York-based cable operator Insight Communications, less than two years after acquiring the company in a $2.1 billion management buyout, TheDeal.com reported.
