CBS: March Madness Video Player Traffic Up 65% from 2008

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. - CBSSports.com (NYSE: CBS) reports that viewers of its March Madness on Demand live video streams of the NCAA Div. I Men's basketball tournament numbered 4.8 million through Saturday -- the third day of the tourney -- up 65% from the same point last year.

CBSSports.com to Stream SEC Basketball Games Live

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. - CBS (NYSE: CBS) said on Thursday that its CBS Sports division will stream select games from the 2008-09 SEC college basketball season live on its website, beginning on Dec. 13 with Indiana at Kentucky. A total of 12 games will be streamed live online for free, including the SEC Championship Game on Sunday, March 15.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - CBS SportsLine.com, the online sports service of CBS Interactive, announced on Wednesday a name change to CBSSports.com. "SportsLine is a terrific property with a strong, dedicated fan base," said CBS Interactive COO Steve Snyder. "This change will allow the community to continue to thrive as it always has, but with the added, and more clear connection to the premier sports broadcasting franchise in the industry." The site will continue to host the company's fantasy sports leagues, and will be marked by increased on-site and on-air integration with CBS Sports.
