Heavy.com, a digital entertainment brand for young men, today announced the appointment of Doug Rohrer as Executive Vice President, Revenue. Rohrer will oversee all revenue streams of the property with an emphasis on ad sales. Rohrer has spent the last 20 years driving record setting ad revenue for MTV Networks and Turner Broadcasting. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Emerging Media, MTV Networks.

Seattle - Cdigix, a provider of digital music and movie download services for college campuses, announced on Tuesday that 25 new schools have signed on to offer its services. The University of Washington, Indiana State University and the University of Colorado at Boulder are among the company's new customers. Seattle-based Cdigix said it still is on track to count 100 school customers by the end of the year.

The investment round was led by Meritage Private Equity Funds and Novak Biddle Venture Partners, with additional participation from Iron Gate Capital. The new funds will be used to accelerate development and marketing of its services, and to increase content offerings. Finally, the company announced that it is in the process of moving its headquarters from Englewood, Colo. to Seattle, Wash.

Englewood, Colo. - Cdigix, a provider of legal campus download services, announced on Tuesday that the University of California Irvine, the University of California Riverside and University of California San Diego will offer its services to 66,000 students beginning this month. The launches follow Cdigix's signing of a master agreement with the University of California and the California State University systems, to provide music and video downloading, and social networking services on campuses.

Englewood, Colo. -- Cdigix, a provider of legal download services for music, movies and other content to colleges and universities, announced on Monday that it has signed a deal to offers its services on up to 33 University of California and California State University campuses. The UC system, which counts some 200,000 students, includes UCLA and UC Berkeley; the CSU system, with 400,000 students, includes Cal State University Northridge and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Colorado-based Cdigix will offer students at the schools access to 1.5 million downloadable songs through its MusicNet-licensed Ctrax service, in addition to Cflix, which offers programming from Disney, ESPN, Cartoon Network and others.

Denver -- Cdigix (formerly Cflix), a provider of digital entertainment and educational media for colleges, announced on Thursday that it has signed agreements with six schools to provide downloadable music, video-on-demand and educational media services to students. The company will provide its services at Marietta College, Ohio University, the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), the University of Denver, Wake Forest and Yale University. Digital music downloads will be provided through MusicNet, a service launched by a group of major record labels that offers an 800,000-song catalog. The campus music service will cost $2.99 per month or $0.89 per track, while the video-on-demand service will be available for a monthly $9.99 subscription or else $3.99 per movie. The company's educational course curriculum will be free to enrolled students.
