AccessIT to Enable Live Event Broadcasts in 150 U.S. Theaters

Morristown, N.J. - Access Integrated Technologies, a provider of digital cinema services, said on Monday that it plans to install 150 of its CineLive systems throughout the U.S., which enable live broadcast of 2D and 3D content into movie theaters via satellite. The company's The Bigger Picture unit is expected to manage distribution of live events enabled by the network.

Morristown, N.J. - Access Integrated Technologies (AccessIT), a provider of digital cinema projection systems for movie theaters, on Monday introduced CineLive, a new product that will deliver 2D and 3D live content to movie theaters equipped with its systems. Developed for AccessIT by International Datacasting Corporation (IDC) and Sensio Technologies, the technology allows live 3D and regular content to be converted from satellite feeds into theatrical entertainment.
