XM Satellite Radio to Broadcast World Baseball Classic

Washington - XM Satellite Radio announced on Tuesday that it will broadcast live all 39 games from the inaugural World Baseball Classic, featuring 16 baseball teams made up of stars representing their home countries. XM will provide play-by-play coverage and analysis of the competition, which will begin play at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on March 3 and conclude with the two semi-final games and final game in San Diego on March 18 and 20. 2K Sports Gets Game Rights to World Baseball Classic

New York - 2K Sports, a unit of video game publisher Take-Two Interactive, said on Wednesday that the World Baseball Classic, a 16-nation tournament featuring the world's best players competing for their home countries, will be exclusively featured in its "Major League Baseball 2K6" game for PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Xbox, GameCube and PSP. The tournament will take place from March 3-20, with finals to be held at PETCO Park in San Diego.

Digital Leisure Publishes 15-Title Classic Game Pack for Xbox 360

Gormley, Ontario - Video game publisher Digital Leisure said on Tuesday that it has released a compilation of fifteen classic game titles for the Xbox 360. Game titles on the compilation include "Dragon's Lair," "Space Ace," "Thayer's Quest," "Mad Dog McCree," "Drug Wars," "Who Shot Johnny Rock" and "Space Pirates."
