Los Angeles - Yeahronimo Media Ventures, which earlier this year purchased the rights to the Commodore classic video game brand, announced on Tuesday the formation of a joint venture with Dutch game and accessories maker The Content Factory. Los Angeles-based Yeahronimo will receive $21.6 million from Content Factory over five years for its stake in Commodore Games, which will develop branded retro gaming hardware and software. The company will initially license classic Commodore 64 titles to third-party developers of plug-and-play, mobile and handheld games, later expanding into the creation of its own specialized gaming hardware and accessories.
