Report: Same iPod Costs $369 in Brazil, $148 in Hong Kong

Canberra, Australia - A 4GB Apple iPod Nano costs a whopping $369.61 in Brazil, while consumers in Hong Kong pay just $148.12 -- even less than the $149 price tag in the U.S., according to the CommSec iPod Index, created by Australia's Commonwealth Bank to study global purchasing power.

Canberra, Australia - Apple's iPod is most costly to purchase in Brazil and India, and is cheapest in Canada, Hong Kong and Japan, according to a purchasing power index created by Australia's Commonwealth Bank, based on January 2007 prices for the 2GB iPod nano.
