Las Vegas - Online gambling site Bodog.com announced on Friday that its sponsored player Jamie Gold took the top prize of $12 million in the 2006 World Series of Poker, and has signed a two-year endorsement deal with the company.

San Jose, Costa Rica - Bodog.com, an online gambling and entertainment site, said on Thursday that it has made an offer to the National Football League, to secure the exclusive Internet rights to the NFL's digital content properties. The league's current contract expires in May. "For more than a decade, Bodog.com has been pioneering new and innovative ways to enhance the online experience, so it would seem natural that we build a partnership with one of America's most popular entertainment brands, and change the way football is viewed by millions," said Bodog.com founder and CEO Calvin Ayre.

Vancouver, B.C. - Online gambling site Bodog.com on Monday announced the launch of a Battle of the Bands competition that will award a grand
of $1 million cash. Bands may create a profile and upload songs to BodogMusic.com. Around 150 regional live performance battles will also be held in 17 major U.S. markets, with voting conducted on the website -- where users may also create their own personal profiles. In addition to the cash prize, Bodog.com said the winning band will receive guaranteed international distribution, tour support, music video production, marketing and publicity from its BodogMusic record label unit.
