New York - Hearst Magazines Digital Media on Wednesday announced the full-scale launch of TheDailyGreen.com, "a new, comprehensive one-stop eco-resource for environmental news, tips and information." Originally unveiled in a beta version on Earth Day 2007, the full-format version of TheDailyGreen.com is "a mash-up between a mainstream media site and a grassroots, blog-based, community-centric site," the company announced. The site features tools for localized content, video, flipbooks, promo players, blogs and more. TheDailyGreen.com has also teamed up with MSN to provide content to its recently launched MSN Green channel, Hearst said. Cambridge, Mass. - Maven Networks, a provider of Internet TV distribution services, announced on Monday that publisher Hearst magazines will use its service to launch 14 new Internet TV channels, for titles including Cosmopolitan, Esquire and Good Housekeeping. Burlingame, Calif. - MeeVee, a developer of personalized video entertainment search technology, has expanded its syndication offering to include Hearst Newspapers. Visitors to the websites of the San Francisco Chronicle and Houston Chronicle can now view promo videos for TV shows, search local TV listings in real-time, and create personalized listings with custom recommendations. Burlingame, Calif.-based MeeVee said that additional Hearst publications will add its service later this year.

Under the deal, articles, video interviews, special events coverage and other editorial content from Hearst's Country Living, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, Popular Mechanics, Redbook and SHOP Etc. will appear on MSN.

New York - Hearst Publications announced on Tuesday that it has launched a number of mobile sites and mobile content for its magazines Cosmopolitan, CosmoGIRL and Seventeen. Hearst partnered with Volantis to develop the mobile versions of the magazines, which include ringtones, wallpapers, horoscopes and editorial content and will be available to Cingular and Sprint Nextel subscribers. The mobile commerce portions of the sites will be powered by U.K.-based Bango.
