Is having a "crazy Jim" the key to success in a cluttered media world? From CNBC's Jim Cramer to AccuWeather.com's Jim Kosek (above), overly energetic presentations have (literally) shaken up the way traditionally "boring" subjects like financial news and weather are covered. Love it or hate it, I think that the crazy Jims are perfect examples that personality matters - no matter if you are an on air talent or a consumer brand, as DMW contributor and author Rohit Bhargava points out in his just released book.

Motorola Adds Content From Sony BMG, MediaBay, AccuWeather.com to iRadio

Las Vegas - Cell phone maker Motorola announced on Wednesday that it has licensed the catalog of major record label Sony BMG for inclusion on its Motorola iRadio service, which delivers commercial-free radio channels to cell phones, and via Bluetooth to PCs and car stereos. Motorola iRadio will also offer exclusive artist and genre channels from Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group.
