CTIA Lands Bush, Clinton to Keynote Annual Wireless Conference

Washington - The CTIA, a wireless industry association, said on Monday that former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton will both speak at its CTIA Wireless 2007 event in Orlando. The former presidents will appear for one hour in a joint keynote session on March 29, which will include individual remarks and a question-and-answer session. Bush and Clinton co-founded of the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, which has raised and distributed more than $100 million for victims of hurricane disasters.

DEMO 07 Unveils List of Companies to Present New Products

Southborough, Mass. - Network World Events and Executive Forums on Friday announced the list of 68 products and services that will be introduced at the DEMO 07 conference, which will take place Jan. 30 - Feb. 1 in Palm Desert, Calif. Some of the innovations to be unveiled before an audience of reporters, investors and others include a collaboration site for musicians; video ringtones; software that tracks plagiarized blog content; the first video e-mail and messaging service; and a GPS product that allows users to control their vehicles wirelessly.
