Free Adult Swim College Concerts to Feature Ghostface, Trail of Dead

Atlanta - Adult Swim, the young adult animation network owned by Time Warner's Cartoon Network, this week announced that it will produce two free college concert tours this fall. They include a 12-campus hip-hop tour featuring Ghostface Killah and Witchdoctor, and another 12-campus rock tour with And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, and Dethklok, the latter of which is featured on the network's "Metalocalypse" series. Israeli User-Generated Cartoon-Sharing Site AniBoom Raises $4.5 Million

Los Angeles - AniBoom, an Israel-based start-up that has created a video-sharing site for user-generated Flash animation videos, has raised $4.5 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Evergreen Ventures, TechCrunch reported.

Jamster to Offer WeeWorld Cartoon Avatars for Mobile Phones

London - Mobile entertainment publisher Jamster, a unit of VeriSign, announced on Monday that it has partnered with WeeWorld, to bring the company's cartoon-like personalized avatars to mobile phones. Under the deal, Jamster users can now create customized WeeWorld avatars for use as wallpapers, screensavers and caller ID images on their mobile phones.

Warner Bros. to Offer Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons Online

London - Premium TV, a U.K.-based provider of broadband and mobile delivery technology, announced on Thursday that Turner Broadcasting Systems has hired the company to create a U.K. broadband TV service for its Cartoon Network.

Eidos to Distribute Warner Bros.' "Tom and Jerry Tales" Game

Burbank, Calif. - Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said on Monday that Eidos Interactive will distribute its "Tom and Jerry Tales" title for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, based on the classic cartoon series. Developed by Sensory Sweep Studios, the game is scheduled for release in the fall of 2006.
